Awakenings has called Ravenswood home for over a decade.
The studio on our block, the survivors who walk through our doors, the teaching artists who live in the neighborhood — we’re part of the fabric of this place, and this place is part of how we do our work.
We’re launching a monthly giving community, and we’re starting here at home.
Your support goes directly toward free, trauma-informed art programs for survivors of sexual violence: no insurance, no referral, no cost to participate.
As a thank you, every monthly donor receives a handmade, postcard-sized art print in the mail each quarter, made by the teaching artists and alumni who shape our programs. In partnership with the Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce, one donor each quarter will also receive a gift card to a local business; a small way of keeping the support circulating in the neighborhood that sustains us.
